The Microwave, what a wonderful invention. Our lives without a microwave would be very difficult especially for us working woman. If we think about the first microwave that would only heat our food. Now one can heat, defrost, cook, bake and grill in the microwave. Yes, the microwave has come a long way, improved in technology and what it can do for us.

Web 2.0 #15

Yes, web2.0 is the way to go. I have learnt alot and have had some frustrations in my learning experience. Web 2.0 is really useful and can be helpful if I had more time to play around with it. It is going to be useful for all the staff to be aware of web 2.0 and to have the opportunity to make their own blog. Web2.0 has helped me realise that there are easy ways to make links through your blogs. I have found that once the links have been made it is so easy to get to other links.

Technorati #14

I had a search around Technorati and found that it had less irrelevant websites found than say Google. People have become familiar with searching using Google because it has been found to be easy to use, however if I had to start using Technorati it would be just as good and I think I could make use of it daily or when I need to use it. I like the idea that I am able to see the level of authority that stands behind my search results. From the searches that I did, I didn`t see the difference between a tag search and a directory search.

Today I created an account with delicious. I found that this should be very beneficial to me because I won`t have to go in searchof all my favorite websites. I am able to keep them all in 1 link.

Bring on Summer

It's a lovely day out there today, besides the wind. Bring on summer, I love summer and hate winter. Yes, I know hate is a strong word but where I come from we have lots more summer than winter so I am trying to adjust to the Melbourne weather. I must say I think I am not doing too bad. My kids have adjusted to the weather better than I have but then again kids adjust better than us more mature people.
